as both a performer and a teacher. 

 

Fredriksen’s extensive technique combined with his intense personal engagement with the music, makes him one of our most compelling contemporary artists. His musical interests are vast and eclectic, programming everything from Bach to Piazzolla. 

 

A lifelong and passionate educator, Fredriksen has always maintained a personal focus on nurturing young talent. Fredriksen is based in New York City where he lives with his family.
